Cycle and programme suggestions:

Cycle Tour I – from Krimml to Zell am See – approx. 65 km Journey with Pinzgauer Lokalbahn directly to Vorderkrimml. We suggest to accept the gentle but steadily ascent from about 3 km to the Krimmler Waterfalls and visit the biggest waterfalls from Europe and the WaterWonderWorld. Afterwards start directly at Tauern cycle path from Krimml to Neukirchen, further to Mittersill and via Kaprun back to the hotel in Zell am See.

Cycle Tour II – from Zell am See via Maria Alm to Saalfelden and back – approx. 40 km These tour leads you through the Pinzgauer Saalachtal and is a truly cycler´s paradise. Quite cycling paths´ leads through the green pasture land. You will drive along lake Zellersee via Maishofen – passing castle Kammer – till Gerling. From here the variant is starting via Maria Alm. After the visit of the pilgrimage church Maria Alm continue to Saalfelden and back to Zell am See.

Cycle Tour III – Round the lake Zellersee – approx. 18 km (partly cycle path and partly A-road) Cycle path signs: „Rund um den Zellersee (round the lake Zellersee)"

Cycle Tour IV – Zell am See – Mitterberg – approx. 10,7 km (difference in altitude: 450 meters, easy to moderate) Departure in Thumersbach – at the chapel turn off and go ahead till junction Mitterberg. Here go left and follow the winding road with fantastic, panoramic views till Gasthof Mitterberg.

Programme suggestion V – Schmittenhöhe with Altitude promenade hike Take the cable car to the mountain Schmitten – the mountain of adventure in Zell am See. High altitude promenade: it was designed to provide an incredible variety of far-ranging views from various points along the way. Walkers young and old alike can experience an unparalleled cornucopia of nature, and have fun at the same time. Viscopes, for example, a novelty in the area of "long distance telescoping", informs you about all the summits encircling the Schmitten. Thematic info-boards along the route show you the countless forms of life on the Schmitten, the history of the region, the flora and fauna, and old hunting traditions.

Programme suggestion VI – Boat trip at lake Zeller See and Vogtturm Enjoy a panoramic round tour at the lake Zeller See and afterwards we recommend a visit at the Vogtturm museum in Zell am See. The lovely museum in the over 1000 years old Vogtturm gives you an overview of the traditions and history of the region.

Programme suggestion VII – Weißsee Glacier World Uttendorf Directly in the heart of the National Park Hohe Tauern!

The route leads from the small village Uttendorf along the Stubach valley panorama road" through one of the most impressive Tauern valleys to the starting point of the mountain experience – the "Enzingerboden" (1.480 m above sea level). From here one floats over the "Grünsee" middle station (1.740 m) to the upper station and the "Mountainhotel Rudolfshütte on the "Weißsee" (2.315 m) into a high alpine hiking paradise, a world of glaciers and mountain peaks higher than 3.000m. The chairlift "Medelz" leads to the "Medelzplateau" in 2.600 m above sea level with an amazing panoramic view (17 peaks higher than 3000 m)!
